Team RangeLog Shooters Win Titles in First Season

Washington, DC – RangeLog’s inaugural shooting team is scoring impressive results, competing in IDPA, USPA, IPSC and 3-Gun matches and making a full court press in the shooting community.

Team RangeLog has garnered early success in IDPA as team RangeLog’s Morgan Allen was the ESP Division Champion at the NC State Championships. A similar story at last month’s Maryland IDPA championships with RangeLog shooter Ravin Perry taking the Stock Service Pistol Division Champion and, putting an exclamation point on the victory, was highest overall at the match. In Custom Defensive Pistol, shooters Dan Burwell and Pat Cronin were the CDP Division Champion and 1st place Expert respectively. Team RangeLog’s Rob Tate also took top honors and won High Military Veteran.

RangeLog’s success is not limited to just IDPA with Ravin Perry winning his class and placing 3rd overall in Open Division at last weekend’s USPSA 2011 VA-MD Section Championships.  Team Captain Keith Bourgeois came in 2nd overall at the Army’s West Point 2-Gun Challenge in April.

Internationally, team shooters Benjo Carpio of the Philippines and Andreas Gothager of Sweden represent RangeLog on the IPSC circuit across the pond, with Gothager recently being featured in a Swedish sports magazine.

Assuring Team RangeLog’s success down the road are the junior shooting duo of Jesse and Lee Wills. Lee (age 11) was the youngest USPSA shooter to ever compete at the Single Stack Nationals and Jesse had an amazing 3rd overall finish in Revolver at the South Carolina Sectional Championships.

More recently, shooters Tierani Hendrix and TD Roe have been selected to join Team RangeLog. Tierani Hendrix, an accomplished junior shooter who recently garnered a spot on Team Smith & Wesson has joined forces with Team RangeLog to help represent them in the 2011 season. Hendrix has already had success in competition this year and recently finished as the top junior at the Alabama Sectional Championship.  Competitor TD Roe is co-owner of Excel training group and is a certified NRA pistol instructor and IDPA certified safety officer. Her previous successes include High Lady at the USPSA IL Sectional and High Lady in Single Stack Division at the Area 5 Championships.

Keith Bourgeois, Captain of the RangeLog shooting team states, “We are extremely pleased to have such high quality shooters representing us in all the action shooting disciplines and we look forward to establishing Team RangeLog in the shooting community. Each team member brings a unique skillset to the table and, more importantly, they are all true sportsmen and top notch individuals.”
